Echo is Leona's second albums, and was recorded through 2009 in Los Angeles. It was released towards the end of 2009, and Leona is about to start her Leona Lewis World Tour in May 2010! (Go Leona!). Leona's second album has been very well received by critics, and we wonder if we'll be seeing a 2009 christmas number one hit from the album Echo!
Leona's lead single for the album Echo, is Happy, and is a stonker of a track! She explains that she named the album 'Echo' because an echo is a "big, organic sound." which is how she feels about the album. Leona was very excited to record the second album, work alongside other artists and writers, and take her music in a new direction!
We've listened to the album, and absolutely love it. Leona's voice feels a lot more held back than in Spirit, and it works! We're not sure which - if any - single is going to be released as a single for Christmas, but well done Leona!
